Position Summary
Lombard International seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Coordinator for our Philadelphia, PA office. Under the supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer, the Legal & Compliance Coordinator performs a range of substantive duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and completion of legal and compliance documents
  • Process supplemental information to legal documents and update database records accordingly
  • Maintain files associated with legal and compliance requirements, including recording supporting documentation and identifying matters requiring additional review by the management team
  • Assist with developing, revising and implementing procedures
  • Perform administrative duties including drafting correspondence, memos and reports, answering phones, scheduling meetings, and filing
  • Coordinate cross functional interactions among management team, internal business unit clients and third parties, by phone and through written correspondence
  • Prepare check requests and expense reports as requested
  • Communicate regularly with Legal and Compliance management team regarding the status of projects and deadlines, and informs management team of any issues
  • Assist with other projects and duties as assigned
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduation experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, senior management and internal business unit clients on a daily basis
  • Must be able to work effectively under tight time constraints and handle significant volumes of work
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, assess and mitigate risk and think strategically
  • Willing to learn new things in short timeframes and ability to see the “big picture” even when working on smaller tasks
  • Project management and/or business analysis experience a plus
  • Experience in the legal, insurance or securities industry a plus
